SEO which Search Engine Optimization is very impotent to Newbies in web mastering.Because they spend much times when designing the web site.That’s good!.But SEO is the major part in a web site to get a high traffic to the web site.Sometimes SEO is very difficult than designing the web site.But if you do the basics in SEO,the web site is indexed well in Search engine.
Let consider SEO in basics.
Back links,Content are major factors in Google Page Ranking.
Get a link from a related site to your site is difficult to newbies.You have to contact with web masters.Sometimes many web masters like to exchange links.Try to get a link from a web site which has a higher page rank than your web site.It’s very impotent.
Following method can be used in others blogs.You can comment blogs.Many bloggers permit to add HTML tags in comments.It’s a great chance to get a back link to your web site.
But the content of the web site should be improved.
The content should be unique,fresh,Original,Meaningful and your own.

* Title : Select at least two key words in the title.The title may longer with 25-80 characters.
*Headline : Use h1,h2…h6 tags
*URL : If you can select an URL with your targeting key words,That’s very good!
*Links : You can add links.Try to add key words in link name.
*Emphasis : Use bold,italic tags in few key words.Don’t do it more than 2-3 times in a page.If you do it more times,Then Search engine will take it as spam.
What do you not to do in SEO.
* Add many key words in meta tag is out dated thing.But you can add key words in meta tag without repeating 2-3 times of same key word combination.
* Flash,Frames,Javascripts(pop up window,Drop down menu).These are the unnecessary things in SEO.
*Add URL to search engines in Bulk methods is not good thing.
Submitting to Google,Yahoo and Live is necessary.Because they share more than 95% of World wide Web.But you can select trusting Bulk Search Engine Submission site like Submit Express.
Many of the above tips are on site tips.So off site tips are done the major part in Search Engine Optimization.You should work with off line SEO.Those are Make back links,Submitting articles to directories(Eg:- Ezine article)..etc

1. User the proper description in each page.
2. User “alt” attribute to “img” elements.
3. User “strong” element rather than “b” element.
4. Use “em” elements rather than “i” element.
5. User URL Rewriting technology rather than query strings.
6. Have a proper site map in your website.
7. Try to reduce images in the HTML file as far as you can.
8. Try to make the website with semantic HTML.
9. Make sure you don’t have broken links in you website.
Things you SHOULD NOT be doing in SEO
1. Adding un-related keywords.
2. Adding your site to link farms.
3. Hiding keywords on you site (white text on white background etc).
4. Repetition of keywords.
5. Using title tag more than once.
6. Duplicating content for better ranking.
