Since in May,2007 yahoo switched to provide an amazing Unlimited storage email account.It can be a good challenge to Gmail(2.8 GB)and other free email providers.Because yahoo mail is the largest email network in the internet.Most recently many clients move to Gmail.Because Gmail has a nice storage feature which is increased the storage amount frequently.So yahoo wants to give a good benefit to existing clients.
This can be a main reason for that.
But the hidden disadvantage in yahoo mail is “The upload file size is remained 10MB”.So sharing large files in mail account is not possible.That’s the hidden feature of new yahoo mail.
There is a nice advantage also…We can use current yahoo mail account for lifetime.We won’t delete any mail in new email account.Very good service from Yahoo.
Yahoo can’t fight with Google by giving unlimited storage email accounts. I personally don’t use more than 100MB on both accounts. So, the storage capacity is not a big deal for me. But I’m really happy with Gmail because I’ve only received one spam to my Gmail inbox in my life time while I’m having at least 20 spams to my Yahoo inbox daily.
