Your Facebook privacy is not that great even if you put your Facebook page to private and do not let people in if you do not know them.

If someone wants to really get you he can download one of many free Facebook script or hire someone to do it for a cheap buck.

Then he will invite you or your friends to join the new applications and you will happily share your most intimate pictures and friends with this person.

I see some people joining anything that come in their way and they have no idea who is behind the Facebook application or what it might do to them.

Next time you agree or send out a invite to friends make sure you know the application is safe and from a trusted partner because Facebook does not care.
