The new figures were presented Friday by the American Institute for Infectious Disease Control. More people are in the hospital then before but they can still cope with it.
The virus was much stronger in Mexico when it started spreading in April this year or maybe the health care and awareness is better in America.
Off course the virus will spread all over the world you can not quarantine 1 million people it is impossible it will spread.
In other countries like Thailand there is 1000 people infected but in Sweden the season for flue just started and only 65 people have got it.
More people will be infected during the flue season later in the winter time and if it spread to poorer countries maybe more people will die because of lack of medicine.
