How to add a Favicon to blogspot

Favicon is the short form of Favorites Icon is associated with a particular Website.You can see it on the Address bar of the web browser.It’s very useful to identify the web site.In the blogspot there is a default
Favicon.You may like to create your own icon.It’s very easy.But this process is different than the typical way to create the Favicon for a website.
(The reason is blogspot doesn’t provide a root access.)

1.Select an image which describe the Url of the website.This image should have low resolutions.
2.Create the favicon.ico by using following link.

4.Now create an image folder and upload the Favicon.
(You may have many alternatives)
5.Now go the blogspot account and open “Template > Edit HTML “.Then add the following code in the head tag.
