Everyone know the best torrent client Utorrent. So most of people use it to share torrent file. When the power failure or other disconnection situation in the internet connection, The sharing torrent file may be corrupted. After this happen all torrent files will be removed from utorrent interface.
Sometimes newbie think it is the time to stop the data transfer. No it’s not correct. The torrent file has been saved in a folder. Let see how you can recover the torrent file to utorrent interface again.
When you have a failure like this you can do following steps.
1. Make sure “Show hidden file and folder” is enabled in folder option.
2. Go to my computer and select the drive which installed operating system.
3. Then go to the folder of utorrent
\Documents and Settings\User_account_name\Application Data\uTorrent
Now you can see all torrent files. Just click on the torrent file which is needed to share again.
TBH, I haven’t had this happen to me ever! I’ve been using torrents for almost 22 months!!!
ya it is a common problem
but data doesnt get corrupted
rather utorrent is a intelligent protocol , only that data which is in memory nd now written onto disc is lost .
so dont get panicked when u noticethat u dont have any torrent listed in your torrent client
just add torrent again nd give same path as it was given before hand
it will chk for existing file 🙂
