Expired Domain Names

Now that more than 25 million com, net and org domain names were registered, it becomes increasingly difficult to find a good domain name. Yet, it is essential for effective website promotion. When a customer selects a site to visit, it is often the one that is most credible domain name wins. A domain name tells the client that the site is one of the key players on the market, and if it is memorable then half the battle is won.

It is still sometimes possible to find a good domain name not registered, but it takes hours and hours of research and a lot of luck. However, it is a good source of domain names which is actually better and better over time, and is the source of thousands of domain names that expire each week. Expired domain names are domain names that have been previously registered, but were allowed to expire in the original. These domain names are then repossessed by the registrar and again available for anyone to register.

Many domain names that are now allowed to maturity were recorded two years ago when it was easy to find a good name. There are many reasons why the owner authorizes the inclusion extinguished, but often it is simply that they have never even been to use the name and have lost interest. The quality of expired domain names has improved considerably over the last year or so, and these domain names now simply offer best opportunities on the Web today.
