Diana Ross Presents the Jackson 5 (1969). This was the first album with Motown. But they did something with Gladys Night 3 years before.
ABC (1970). Just five months later,the band’s bubblegum soul scored again with puppy-love ditties The Love You Save and ABC.
Third Album (1970). By now, J5 mania was in full effect, and I’ll Be There and Mama’s Pearl headlined their third LP in just 10 months.
Maybe Tomorrow (1971). Not as good as the once before did not reach to high on the hit lists.
Looking Through the Windows (1972). The last hit album for the Jackson 5 reached No. 7 on the album charts and had two top 20 hits in the title track and Little Bitty Pretty One.
Ben (1972). Michael sings about his pet friend the rat and make number one.
Off the Wall (1979). After a mostly disappointing late-teen career, Michael came roaring back with this, his first collaboration with producer Quincy Jones. Jackson ruled the pop singles charts with Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough, Rock With You, Off the Wall and She’s Out of My Life.
Triumph (1980). The Jacksons’ (no longer the Jackson 5) fourth post-Motown album on Epic Records reached No. 10 on the album charts.
Thriller (1982). Biggest-selling album of all time (28 million domestically) that broke records for staying in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 for 80 straight weeks, including 37 weeks at No. 1. Virtually every track was a hit, including Billie Jean, Thriller and Beat It.
Victory (1984). The Jacksons’ last great achievement included the hit State of Shock, which featured Mick Jagger.
Bad (1987). Michael’s first album in five years spawned seven hits, including Bad, The Way You Make Me Feel and Man in the Mirror.
Dangerous (1991). Right after signing a new $65 million contract with Sony, Michael sold more than 7 million copies of his eighth solo album, which included Black and White and Remember the Time.
HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book 1 (1995). A double album that included a greatest-hits disc and one with new material that included Scream, a duet with sister Janet.
Invincible (2001). His last album went double platinum in the USA and had the singles You Rock My World, Cry and Butterflies.
